Ingredients

  • 3 lbs red apples
  • 3 lbs green apples
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 large lemon
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Peel, core, and slice all apples.
  • Add apples, cider, lemon juice, sugars, and cinnamon to the slow-cooker.
  • Stir this all together.
  • Set the slow-cooker on low to 4 hours. Stop cooking after 3 hours.

Notes

** There's no need to cook for the full 4 hours. By three hours, the apples fall apart when stirred, and the sauce has a beautiful creamy texture.
