Ingredients
1cuprolled oats
4cupsice cold water
Optional add-ins
1tablespoonmapple syrup
1tablespoonagave nectar
1teaspoonpure vanilla extract
1tablespooncocoa powder
⅛teaspoonsea salt
1pitted date
Instructions
Combine the oats and water in a blender and mix for 20 - 30 seconds. Don't over-blend because the heat from the friction can cause the milk to become slimy.
Gently strain the mixture into a large bowl. I recommend doing this twice to remove all the sediment.
Store the milk in a container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or until you notice an off smell.
